Model safety starts with verified people on both sides

Model safety on PostModels rests on four things. Every model passes ID and age verification and must be an adult. Every brand is verified and pays to post. Booking payments go through the platform and are held until the job is done. And every casting and profile has a Report button that leads to fast removal.

  • Adults 18+ only.
  • Every model is ID and age verified.
  • Every brand is a verified, paying business.

01

Every model is a verified adult before the profile goes live

Before a model profile appears in search or can apply to a casting, the model uploads a government ID and passes an age check. PostModels is for adults only, 18 and older, and this is enforced in the product, not only in the rules. The birth date stays private. Brands see a Verified badge, never the ID or the date. Uploaded photos are checked, and anything with nudity or anything that raises doubt is rejected.

02

Every brand is a verified business that pays to post

Fake castings thrive where posting is free and anonymous. On PostModels, a brand account is matched to a business email domain or a website before it can publish. Then it pays a subscription. People who run scams rarely want their business details on file and a card on record. Castings cannot target anyone under 18, and every casting must be paid work.

03

Money only moves through the platform

The brand pays the booking fee to PostModels when the booking is confirmed. The payment is held until the job is done, then released to the model's own payout account minus the 10 percent platform fee. No one on PostModels can ask a model to pay for a casting, a test shoot, a portfolio, a course or registration. If you are asked to send money, buy gift cards, or move the conversation and payment off the platform, stop and report it.

A fake casting call checklist

These are the most common signs that a casting is not what it claims to be. One sign is a reason to ask questions. Two or more is a reason to walk away and report.

More detail and real-world patterns are in our guide to fake casting calls.

  • They ask you to pay for anything: registration, a test shoot, photos, a course or a "processing fee"
  • They want to send you a check and have you send part of it back
  • There is no brand name, no website and no real business email
  • The rate is far above normal for the job, with little detail about the work
  • They push you to move to a private chat app or pay outside the platform right away
  • They ask for your ID number, bank login or passwords
  • They want nude, implied nude or lingerie photos for a commercial or UGC job
  • The shoot is at a private home or hotel room with no production details
  • They will not let you bring someone with you
  • They rush you to decide today and get upset at questions
  • The usage rights are vague or missing
  • The details in the casting do not match what they say in messages

05

What to do before and during a shoot

  • Read the booking agreement. Check the date, address, hours, fee, deliverables and usage rights before you accept.
  • Tell someone where you are going and when you expect to be done.
  • Bring a friend or a chaperone if you want to. A real production will not object.
  • Arrive with your own transport plan, a charged phone and water.
  • Wear what the brief asked for and bring a plain base layer. You never have to change in front of people.
  • If you are asked to do something not in the agreement, you can say no. Extra usage or extra hours need a new agreement.
  • If you feel unsafe, leave. Then report it from the booking page.

How to report a casting, profile or message

Models waiting at an open casting call holding portfolios

Every casting, profile and conversation has a Report button. Pick the reason, add a few words and send. You can also email [email protected]. Reports go to our review queue. While a report on a booking is open, the held payment does not move. Brands can report models in the same way, for example for a no-show or fake photos.

07

What we remove and who we ban

Casting-related decisions are made on the facts we can see: the casting, the agreement, the messages and the report. See the terms for the full rules and how PostModels works for the booking flow.

  • Castings that ask models for money in any form
  • Castings and profiles with nudity, sexual content or erotic framing
  • Any content involving anyone under 18, which is removed and reported
  • Fake brands, fake photos and impersonation
  • Castings that are not paid work
  • Accounts that pressure people to pay or communicate off the platform
  • Harassment, threats and discrimination beyond lawful casting requirements such as a role's gender or look
