UGC jobs from verified brands, shot from home and paid per video
UGC jobs pay you to film short, natural videos and photos with a brand's product, usually on your phone at home. Brands use the content in ads, on social and on product pages. On PostModels, verified brands post UGC castings with the brief, rate and usage, you apply from your profile, and payment is held until the job is done.
- Adults 18+ only.
- Every model is ID and age verified.
- Every brand is a verified, paying business.
01
UGC creator jobs pay for content, not followers
UGC stands for user generated content. The brand does not post it on your account. It runs it on its own channels and in paid ads. That is why you do not need a big audience to get booked. You need to look and sound real on camera, follow a brief and deliver clean files on time.
Typical deliverables look like this:
- A 15 to 30 second unboxing or first impression video.
- A problem and solution video, for example "my dry skin before and after two weeks".
- Three to five hooks, which are different first lines for the same video so the brand can test them in ads.
- A set of lifestyle photos with the product in your home.
- Raw clips without music or captions, so the brand's editor can cut them.
02
A UGC brief tells you exactly what to film
Read the brief twice before you apply. A good one covers the product, the target buyer, key points to mention, words to avoid, the format (vertical 9:16 is standard), the length, the number of hooks, the deadline and the usage. If something is missing, ask in your application note.
What a good hook sounds like
The first two seconds decide if a viewer keeps watching. Strong hooks are short and specific: "I stopped buying three different cleaners because of this one", or "Nobody told me my desk chair was the reason my back hurt." Practice five hooks for every product you film.
03
Your phone is enough gear to start
- A recent phone with a clean lens. Shoot in 4K if you can.
- Window light or one soft light. Face the light, do not sit with it behind you.
- A small clip-on mic for talking videos. Clear audio matters more than sharp video.
- A tidy, neutral background, like a kitchen counter, a bathroom shelf or a desk.
- A simple editing app for trimming and exporting.

UGC rates depend on usage more than on length
As general US market guidance, newer UGC creators commonly charge $100 to $250 per video, and experienced creators often charge $250 to $600 or more. Extra hooks, raw footage and rush delivery usually cost extra. The biggest factor is usage. Organic posting on the brand's social channels is the base. Paid ad usage, often called whitelisting or paid usage, commonly adds 30 to 100 percent for a set period, such as 3, 6 or 12 months. On PostModels, usage is set per casting and written into the booking agreement, so you know where your face will run and for how long.
| Usage | What it means | Typical effect on rate |
|---|---|---|
| Organic social | Brand posts on its own accounts | Base rate |
| Website and product page | Video on the brand's store | Small add-on or included |
| Paid ads, set period | Brand runs ads with your video | Often 30 to 100 percent more |
| Perpetual or unlimited | No end date | Much higher, or decline |

UGC jobs remote work from any city
Most UGC castings are remote. The brand ships the product, you film at home and upload the files. Turn on "Remote UGC" in your profile and on the casting board, and you see remote castings next to local ones. If you also want in-person work, check model castings near me.
UGC model jobs and UGC content creator jobs are often the same casting
Some brands want a face on camera (UGC model jobs), others want voiceover and hands only. Both show in the same board. Look at the brief: "on camera talent" means your face, "hands and voiceover" means product focus. Hand-only creators can also try hand modeling jobs.

PostModels handles the parts that go wrong in UGC
UGC work found in comment sections and social groups often ends with late or missing payment. On PostModels, brands are verified and pay a subscription to post. When a brand books you, the deliverables and usage go into a booking agreement, the payment is held by PostModels and it is released to your payout account after the job. With the Model plan you get a profile with up to 3 videos for your UGC samples and up to 60 applications a month. New to UGC? Read how to become a ugc model and model usage rights.
No. Brands run UGC on their own channels and in ads, so they care about how you look and sound on camera, not your follower count.
As general US market guidance, newer creators commonly earn $100 to $250 per video and experienced creators $250 to $600 or more, with extra pay for paid ad usage, hooks and raw footage.
Most are. The brand ships you the product and you film at home. Some castings ask for in-person shoots, and the casting always says which.
Often yes, but not always. The casting or the booking agreement says if the product is a gift, a loan to return or part of your pay.
Two or three short vertical videos: one talking to camera, one product demo and one lifestyle clip. Add a few clean product photos. Upload them to your profile videos.
